The worlds first preserved railway at Talyllyn is a major attraction locally. The Dolgoch waterfalls are also close by. There is a station nearby at Tonfanau (2.8 miles) you can catch a train from Euston to Tonfanau which takes just over 4.5 hours, a taxi to Llangelynin will cost £10, so getting to this remote idyll really couldnt be easier. Tywyn has a range of shopping, pubs and cafes.
