New Concordia Wharf is grade II listed and is one of the most authentic warehouse conversions in Shad Thames. As well as its many original features it provides a very nice indoor swimming pool, a resident building manager and a communal roof garden.
The original owners of New Concordia Wharf bought their apartments as shells which means that every apartment in the building is unique. This one is arranged as a large open-plan loft although it could be re-modelled to become a one or even a two bedroom apartment. It has a mass of original exposed brickwork, pillars and the classic warehouse windows that are associated with the Victorian warehouses on the banks of the River Thames. Double doors open onto a large balcony which provides a fantastic view out over the mouth of St Saviours Dock and the river Thames.
Shad Thames is a wonderful place to live. It is a peaceful environment right on the banks of the Thames next to Tower Bridge. Many bars and restaurants flank the waterside and there is a good infrastructure of shops. The neighbourhood is popular with those who work in the City and many walk in every day.
