Full Details for 4 Bedroom Bungalow for sale in Dover, CT15 :
If peace and quiet is something you want then look no further than this wonderful family home. Not only is it a fantastic size throughout but it also has great potential for anyone looking to put their own stamp on the home of their dreams. Venturing inside is the only way you will find out what is on offer here. Nestling on a quiet lane the home is perfect for a family, with benefits including the utility room off of the kitchen, ideal for muddy boots or dogs. You could even use the 5th bedroom as a study, giving you space to work from home or the children somewhere to do their homework. The garden surrounds the property and is a fantastic space to enjoy the summer months entertaining friends and family. There is a patio area to the rear and lawns and flowerbeds to the front and side. The garden shed is perfect for your bikes etc and there is also a separate garage and parking. At the bottom of the lane a public footpath continues across the fields providing views across the countryside, ideal for a quiet walk with or without dogs.Martin Mill has easy access to the nearby local towns and villages, including Walmer and Deal which are both a short drive or train ride away, as well as Dover with its bustling port and town. Although the home does need some updating it offers any new buyer the chance to move straight in as it represents somewhat of a blank canvas.
We bought the property over 50 years ago after falling in love with the area whilst on a summer holiday. Over the years we extended it substantially in order to accommodate our growing family and we will leave behind many happy memories. For us the fantastic thing has always been the railway station. It meant our children could take themselves to school and more recently our grandchildren have been able to visit us as it only takes around 75 minutes on the fast train from London. We will really miss popping down to the beach at St Margaret's Bay, walking the dogs across the fields as well as the fantastic neighbourly community, but sadly the time has come for us to downsize.
