Full Details for 3 Bedroom Terraced for sale in Dover, CT17 :
This attractive 1930's house is an ideal family home. With open plan living space and French doors out onto the garden you can enjoy having meals around the table whilst taking in the views. The current owners have obviously put their heart and soul into the garden and, as such, there is a various selection of shrubbery which adds colour and interest to the garden. For anyone with hobbies there is a good size, full height, cellar room which you could utilise for a whole manner of things - play room, work shop or office, the possibilities are endless. Whilst the loft room only has ladder access the current owners have utilised it as a space for their children to have a separate play area. For anyone into the outdoors you can easily take a stroll up to the neighbouring hills where it is known to see wild horses.By foot you can be at Dover Priory train station within 5 or 10 minutes and the town is a short distance beyond. With the high speed link you can be at St Pancras in just over an hour. By car you have good access to the A20 with links to the M20.
We bought this house in 1980 as we were immediately taken in by its kerb appeal and the layout worked well for our family. We up-dated the double glazing and partly converted the loft so that the children could have a hobby room. We opened up the kitchen to the dining area which we use more than any other room in the house. It is ever so quiet living here. We have thoroughly enjoyed the garden over the years. Being it is terraced it has been easy to section off areas of the garden for the children to play in when they were younger. Nowadays we enjoy sitting out and taking in the tree lined views and Dover Castle in the distance.
