Full Details for 3 Bedroom Semi-Detached for sale in Sittingbourne, ME9 :
A clever extension has really boosted the living space here but also gives a versatility that could work well for a large family. The rear extension provides a shower along with a nice size bedroom. This could work as an additional reception room, should you prefer, but it could give annexe style living too.The original house has been well looked after, with several upgrades done in recent years, so there are really no challenges to be made here. The lounge and dining areas are somewhat open plan so with everyone together there is great space to spread out in.As a family home often the kitchen is a real focal point and here there is a good range of work tops and cupboard space; with an adjacent utility area, it works very well.Teynham remains a small village and is almost centrally positioned between the historical market town of Faversham and the busier town of Sittingbourne. Both have regular rail connections into London with a "village" service connecting into Teynham directly. This property is tucked towards the end of a nice residential street yet is within walking distance of a selection of shops and amenities.
For 30 years or more this house has been home. We love the area, the neighbours and the peace and quiet so much so, rather than move a few years ago, we extended! That made such a difference and gave the children some extra space for computers and things which helped give us some peace! It is handy having the Co-op shop only a couple of minutes walk away and we can certainly recommend the fish and chip restaurant. It is sad to consider leaving here but with a new chapter for us comes the chance for new owners to enjoy this house.
