Vendor Comment
\"Having purchased this property four years ago I set about re-configuring, renewing and redecorating with the sole intention of staying here long term. This is reflected in the high specification of the improvements made. I replaced the old kitchen, along with removing the wall to make it a more sociable area. I had several kitchen designers out to design a layout but eventually gave up as not one of them could incorporate my 'cwtch' under the stairs, which is excellent storage for the hoover, ironing board etc. So, having a passion for cooking and entertaining I designed the kitchen myself and I have to say it works really well. All the flooring upstairs and down have been replaced with either wood or carpet. The wardrobes in the rear bedroom are IKEA, including the interior fittings. Every wall in the house has been re-plastered. The electricity box has been replaced to current specifications. The bathroom was also renewed even though there was nothing wrong with the old tiled one. When trying to replace the old shower screen I found out, too late, that it had been glued to the existing tiles and on removal took a dozen tiles with it. Hence a forced bathroom refurbishment. The attic is boarded out with a drop down step ladder of access. Last year I changed the old Baxi fire/boiler and replaced it with a combi boiler and multi fuel fire, having already replaced the radiators when I first moved in. This is a lovely quiet street, be it morning, noon and at night, and the neighbours are friendly. Sitting out in the private rear garden when you have the sun all day, with spectacular view over to Somerset. My plan this summer was to extend the rear balcony with decking making it a bigger sociable area. The front garden I have planted with shrubs and annuals which is pretty all summer and no maintenance other than mowing the lawns.I have no found myself in the surprising position of need to relocate and sell on this delightful home.\"
