Full Details for 3 Bedroom Detached for sale in Dover, CT15 :
This property is a really warm and friendly family home on the outskirts of St Margaret at Cliffe. It can be found along a charming road of individual houses that ultimately leads to a farm and the Kent countryside, providing wonderful places to walk. From the moment you step into the entrance hall of this charming house you can feel the welcoming atmosphere and this feeling continues as you walk into the very attractive kitchen area with its modern cream units, a range cooker that is a joy for any cook, a selection of other appliances and access to the utility room and the conservatory. One of the great advantages of the kitchen is that it has a large picture window overlooking the beautiful conservatory and lovely fenced garden so you can always keep an eye on young children if they are playing in the conservatory or outside. The good sized lounge/dining room includes an attractive fireplace and sliding doors to the conservatory so that when they are open the whole area makes a delightful entertainment space. There is a sittingroom just inside the front door on the ground floor adjacent to the downstairs cloakroom, so would be very useful if you want to work from home or have a fourth bedroom. While upstairs you will find three double bedrooms and both a very trendy new bathroom and an equally modern separate shower room, so there is plenty of flexible accommodation for a growing family. The easy to maintain garden is an absolute gem. It includes a large terrace for sitting and eating outside, a lawn where the kids and dogs can play, two useful storage sheds and is surrounded by borders and large stone pots where you can plant colourful flowers. At the front of the house there is a large block paved driveway providing off road parking for a number of vehicles. For horsey enthusiasts there are two riding and livery stables nearby and the wonderful beach at St Margaret’s Bay is only a short distance so there is the delightful mixture of coast and countryside
I love this area and in fact this is the third house I have moved to in this road! We have lived here for the past 11 years but I have lived in the road for more than 20 years. However, we feel it is time to downsize and let another family enjoy it as much as we have. We love being so close to the countryside and there are plenty of wonderful places to walk the dogs or you can ride horses for miles without having to go on the road.
We live in a very friendly and community spirited village. There are a number of restaurants, a hotel and four pubs as well as a post office, village shop and the St Margaret’s resort where locals and visitors can make use of the gym, sauna and swimming pool. There are a wide range of societies and clubs including bowls, tennis, cricket, football as well as a history and horticultural society, among many others. Not to mention the St Margaret’s players for those with a more theatrical bent. For the younger members of the community there are also very active scout, guide and brownie troops as well as the two riding stables. Indeed, there is truly something for everyone.
We are not far from Dover for access to the continent, Walmer for the mainline station and the lovely town of Deal with its seafront, individual shops, bars and restaurants and on Saturday mornings there is a very good market to wander around and pick up a few bargains.
