Full Details for 3 Bedroom Detached for sale in Uckfield, TN22 :
Driving up to the property the first thing you notice probably is how quiet it is as you turn into Cleve Close. The house is spacious and has been totally redecorated recently. A covered walk way over to the garage has been added which is brilliant. When family and grandchildren come round, the adults can sit out in the lounge and the kids can walk through and play in the garage where there is a drawing and painting area. Handy, especially if it’s raining! Plus there’s plenty of space on the driveway for guests to park. There is scope to make a few changes here and there, although you may not need to, especially when it comes to the countryside views. The current owners are keen to stay in the village and have found already, they don’t need three bedrooms, but for families who do there is also potential to extend over the garage (subject to the necessary consents being obtainable). The train station is about two miles away, as is Uckfield town and is just a short hop for commuters to get to. In the evening, if maybe after a walk with the dog on one of the many local trails nearby, a pint is the order of the day, the village pub is perfect. Of course it’s equally ideal to spend weekends sat out in the garden enjoying the sun or just spending quality family time together and the distant sound of the church bells just adds to the villagey feel.
After taking early retirement, Framfield has been the perfect place for us but now it’s time to downsize to a bungalow, in fact we are hoping to stay in the village as we have loved it so much. Lots of our friends are here and it’s been a perfect place to live, so quiet and with a little village pub and lots of countryside walks nearby as well. There is lots of parking so we don’t need to use the garage anymore so we use it as a kids play area and workshop (when the grandchildren aren’t there!).
