Jackfield is a small, long established village style community pleasantly situated in the Severn Gorge on the southern bank of the River Severn. It is an area steeped in the history of the Industrial Revolution and is located a little over one mile east of the renowned and historic township of Ironbridge which is now a World Heritage Site. How to get there – from Ironbridge take the B4373 road towards Broseley; proceed over the Free Bridge by the Robin Hood Inn and then turn left following the signs for the Tile Museum; proceed past the Tile Museum and also past the first entrance to the Maws Craft Centre. Before reaching the craft centre complex turn sharp left at The Half Moon Public House and continue for about 200 yards to the front of the property. Alternatively, park in the Maws Craft Centre car park and take the footpath to the right when leaving the car park, the rear of the property is about 30 yards on the right.
