This has been a great family home over the years. Mum and Dad enjoyed the convenience of being able to go out almost every day whether walking (10 minutes to the town centre), driving or taking the bus. On Saturdays Dad would walk to Crabble Ground to watch Dover play football, while Mum used the table in the light and airy kitchen to prepare baked treats – many an hour was spent chatting over cake and coffee! Two generations of grandchildren loved to visit, with plenty of space in the flat to race their cars or play skittles, enjoying days on the beach (only 10 minutes away by car) and staying overnight in their own room (which became a study-bedroom in later years).
