I moved here as I fell in love with the character and space on offer. The home has the right feel about it and when I wondered down to the garden and saw the view I just knew I had to buy it. Over the years I have done a lot of work including more recently redecorating. In the summer the garden is really hot and sunny and I spend a lot of time out there sitting and admiring the views. In the winter, the open fire in the lounge is lovely and heats the whole house. A real bonus for me is having such a big kitchen/dining area where I can bake my own cakes while still being able to catch up with friends and family who can sit around the table watching me mix up a lemon drizzle cake! I will miss the cottage but the time has come to move closer to my work.
