Another property under offer through Sale By Tender… Selling your house by informal tender = top price and no commission fees.
Driving along the lane with fields and woodland either side on the way to Newnham is a nice, relaxing approach. As the village comes into view, this bungalow can be found set quite far back from the road. Ample parking is a bonus but location and potential are the two key words!Beyond the rear garden are lovely views over Sharsted Banks which will be a joy in all weathers and gives a real sense of village living.Back inside, the bungalow is well proportioned but has scope for further development, so bring your design and creative skills with you.The spacious lounge is light and airy courtesy of the double aspect. A kitchen/breakfast room with views over the garden and fields will be a delight once your re-modelling is done and will be a nice place to sit with morning coffee or to have a chat with friends.Having been in one ownership for over 30 years, the bungalow needs updating but in such a charming position in the historical village of Newnham bungalows are rarely available so do not miss your chance to have a look around - who knows, this could be the one.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.
Mum loved living here and I do not think ever considered moving during her 30 years here. She spent a lot of time in the garden and took pride in the plants and shrubs that, over the years, are now nicely established.Although Mum was here on her own for much of the time, she was always kept busy by the friendly, social environment of the village. With so much countryside and woods nearby, it is always lovely to take a walk and enjoy the surroundings. There is always the local pub to come back to after! We understand there is upgrading to do in the bungalow but know, with some investment, it will make a lovely home.
