Full Details for 2 Bedroom Apartment for sale in Uckfield, TN22 :
Wow what a stylish pad this is! This amazing apartment takes up a large section of the ground floor of this superb and interesting converted house. With its own private entrance, you’re bound to get a super first impression as you cross the threshold and the interior will surely take your breath away.Modern, contemporary, clean and bright, the open plan kitchen/breakfast room has plenty of space. Whether cooking for one, entertaining guests or just a coffee and a chat with friends this room will surely be where the new owner will spend a lot of their time! From here the excitement doesn’t drop with two huge double bedrooms offering ample space and a lovely lounge with character features to relax in. One of the nicest things about the property is the way that the contemporary decor and the character features blend so well together and the property has been ever so well looked after. The property has its own private garden, which is not overlooked and has a wonderfully secluded feel - an excellent place to enjoy the sunny weather (you may have to wait until Summer 2015). The building itself has lots of history, having been used by the Canadian Military during the war and more recent history has seen it be the home of the award winning and bestselling author Neil Gaiman who wrote the story ‘Coraline’ which was actually based on this building itself.Superb location, lots of character and with a modern twist!
The flat has been a real joy to live in, close to Gatwick, I have spent a lot of time in the last few years heading back and forth abroad for work, it’s always such a pleasure to return home to the welcoming greenery of Nutley. Popping up to London is easy with good transport links nearby so it really feels like a bit of a secret retreat.
Highlights of living here include quiet evening barbecues, winter evenings snuggled up by the coal fire with a movie and with the Ashdown forest so close, summer walks and exploration of local country houses are a lot of fun, all in all, it’s a really creative space to work and live in. I will be sad to move on really, but my imminent move to Switzerland means it’s time for someone else to enjoy Littlemead and make it their home.
