The location is in the central highlands, 38 miles east of Pitlochry, 90 miles south of Inverness, 80 miles north of Edinburgh. The journey by car is picturesque, about 300 miles from northwest England, 500 from London. Trains are available to Pitlochry or Rannoch Station. Car hire is available from Inverness or Edinburgh airports, I recommend Enterprise Rent a Car for value.
Kinloch Rannoch is a delightful, isolated village, with one hotel, two shops, a café/restaurant and a post office. .the lesser kilted scotsman
