Applicants who are claiming housing benefit will automatically need a guarantor. The Guarantor will need a form of photographic ID. On the day of move in you will pay a months rent in advance plus a deposit which is normally the equivalent to a months rent plus the £75 application fee, in some cases landlords my request that you pay six weeks deposit.
