Full Details for 2 Bedroom Cottage to rent in Crediton, EX17 :
2 Bellmont is a lovely period cottage located in one of Devon’s most sought after villages, offering truly deceptive “tardis” like accommodation, full of charm and character, and presented in good order throughout. There is a charming living room with open fireplace and a new multi fuel burner (added in 2013), a dining room, which has been previously used as a 3rd bedroom, with a large Velux roof window, a kitchen with hand built units cooker, recently added washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer , a spacious semi-galleried landing, a huge master bedroom, a 2nd bedroom and well fitted modern bathroom plus shower.
Outside, the cottage enjoys a level easy to maintain paved garden providing a pleasant seating area, and also ideal space for pots & tubs. During the summer of 2011 the cottage was completely re-roofed, and in 2010 all the windows were replaced with uPVC double glazing. In 2013,new wall mounted electric economy programmable radiators were installed in the living room, dining room and bedrooms. The cottage is located at the lower end of the village in a secluded position within a short walk of the lovely Millennium Green, and footpath to Crediton which winds through picturesque countryside and woodland. The village square is a few yards walk up the hill, and there are 2 well regarded public houses nearby. Overall, this is a charming cottage in one of the area’s most sought after villages, offering deceptively sizeable character accommodation and we therefore highly recommend an internal inspection.

The village retains a real community feel with the focal point being the village square and Lamb Inn. There is a post office / store, an Offsted registered playgroup, a highly sought after primary school (senior children are taken to Queen Elizabeths School, Crediton), village hall, a further Inn and historic parish church. Sandford is well served by sporting clubs with a top quality cricket club, football, tennis and nearby rugby club. From the outskirts of the village, runs the Sandford to Crediton footpath which passes through the Millennium Green, crossing several times over a pretty stream, winding its way up through woodlands and into the outskirts of Crediton.
DIRECTIONS On entering Sandford from Crediton, no 2 Bellmont can be found on the left hand side of the road, beside the Rose and Crown.
