WHAT THE OWNER SAYS\"We have owned this beach hut for many years and have made a lot of happy memories here along with our friends and family. It has a claim to fame as it's picture is displayed at the top of the slopes and it was also featured in the Tourist Information Leaflets. Being one of the originals it was built on a metal frame so when the rest are out at sea this will still be standing strong. We based the style of the hut on the delicious and scrummy 'Pink & White' Marshmellow wafers which we feel makes it stand out above the rest. Being positioned on the second row has its advantages as it give you a lot of space to the front and back giving plenty of space for when all the family is tucking into their fish and chips. We have had a number of Bride and Grooms ask for photographs to be taken on their special days and we have had many wistful moments spent gazing out to sea on the verandah. The hut itself has three layers of cladding and is insulated which keep it nice and cosy, the windows to the side and back open and the shutters on the doors are removable you can sit inside in the wintertime and enjoy dinner and a glass of something nice whilst watching the sun go down. There is also loft space above the verandah which comes in handy when children or pets are being naughty (just teasing). We hope that whoever buys our quirky beach hut keeps its originality as we feel that is why this is such a special little hut.\"
Beach Hut Change Of Ownership
EFFECTIVE 01/04/2014 - The supplementary rental fee of 5 x the annual rent has been discontinued and is replaced with an Assignment Administration Fee. This will be charged to the current owner. There is a Tenancy Administration Fee of £50 in 2015/16 charged to the proposed new owner of the beach hut when the tenancy is signed.
Other Information
We have been notified by the current owner that the Beach Hut Licence Fee is paid on a monthly basis.
