The rooms are all good sizes, and we’ve used a neutral palette throughout each cottage which makes them feel light and bright, and it also enhances the feeling of space.” “Each cottage is unique, and each has rooms and features that sets it apart from the others,” says Sarah. “For instance, one has a room with a beautiful beamed atrium ceiling; another has a lovely open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that was refurbished just last year, and the third has a spacious, L-shaped dining and living space that opens onto the pretty courtyard beyond, which still has the beautiful Victorian paving stones and even the old water pump,” says Sarah. “It’s a really nice place to sit out an enjoy the utter peace and quiet.” “I think the location offers the very best of both worlds,” says Sarah. “The village has a lovely community shop-cum-café and a really friendly pub, there’s so much stunning countryside to explore, and within just a few minutes you can be right in the city centre of Bath.”
