We knew we wanted to live here the moment we walked through the gates into the gardens, the house was in a sorry state but we could see the potential. No stone was left unturned, the house was stripped back to the bare bones, we replaced practically everything from the plumbing and wiring to the plaster on the walls. Along the way we have reinstated some of the period features. The house was finished back to it's former glory in little over 10 months. That was almost 28 years ago and it is now just too big for us.
