The site of this home has been in the family for about 40 years – we acquired the original property in 1996, which we later demolished and built what is our home in 2001 and in 2010 we added the cinema room.

There are so many aspects of this home that still impress us; the sitting room is one of them – it’s an elegant room ideal for entertaining and we have spent many hours in this room with friends and family. Then there’s the cinema room, an equally favourite space. It’s a bit of a luxury but we love having a home cinema where one can really enjoy those favourite films and sporting events.

We are very sociable people and designed the house with an emphasis on entertaining. The accommodation has a nice flow to it; we have enjoyed sharing our home with lots of friends and family over the years and have hosted many parties here.

The location is yet another aspect of the home that we love – we are located within a no-through-road, providing us with a peaceful environment in which to live as no one drives down here unless they live here or are visiting.

We are only moving to be closer to our son, daughter and grandchildren. The home is also now too big just for the two of us and it deserves to have another family living here so they can make the most of the accommodation.
