Location
The market town of Malmesbury sits on the highly desirable Gloucestershire/Wiltshire borders, just 12 miles from Cirencester, "the
capital of the Cotswolds." Malmesbury is reputed to be England's oldest borough, dating from around 880 AD. Westport House is a beautifully presented town house with late 16th Century origins. It was substantially extended in the mid 18th Century,
with the library added in the mid 19th Century. This has an unusual barrel vaulted ceiling, wall panelling and a timber clad exterior. There
