We were always very keen to live on the East side of Folkestone as the scenery and location is superb, it's great for the kids and having the harbour on the doorstep is fabulous in the summer. The schools in the area are excellent too so it really did tick all the boxes for us.
Having a house over three floors has been ideal for when family and friends come to stay, there is so much room for the whole family we never feel that we are on top of one another and we have plenty of room for the children to have their own space and invite friends over after school without getting under our feet. Our favourite thing about the house is sitting on the balcony having a morning cup of tea; it's a great way to start the day and something I will truly miss.
