Butleigh is an historic village within easy reach of the surrounding local towns of Glastonbury (4 miles), Street (3½ miles) and Wells (10 miles) and also the larger centres of Yeovil to the south and Bath and Bristol to the north. Glastonbury's past and present are linked with its dominant landmark, the Tor.
