Natural light also bathes the house from a roof window in the centre, with a roof ornament or kalash on top; this central Brahmasthan space of light is the nucleus for the whole structure.Another feature of Ayurveda is a low vastu wall enclosing the house. Beyond the vastu wall is a lovely open naturalistic garden with primroses multiplying along the bank at the front of the house. It's mainly laid to lawn and has a small wooded area to one side.
