This has been our family home now for nearly 50 years and we have enjoyed Barcombe village and the local area. My children all went to the local school, it's so convenient as you can walk there in minutes. There is also the new village hall, where there is always something going on, it’s a really nice community here and everyone comes together with social events. There is the local shop, great for picking up daily essentials and of course the pub. With Lewes, Uckfield and Cooksbridge close by, you are never far from some shops and just as important, railway stations, all of which have direct links to London. If you like walking, the countryside around here is beautiful, especially if you have a pet dog.
