First impressions? 'Bit of an ugly house, this one!'Some people might feel that an Estate Agent shouldn't say this, but in my humble opinion, I do not find it the most attractive property on our books. However, as the saying goes \"Don't judge a book by its cover\" and with this in mind, I asked my clients to compile a list, detailing the reasons why they bought it and why they have absolutely loved living here. In no particular order, the list (which is by no means exhaustive) is as follows:-A cosy secret hideaway, Homely, Walking distance of schools (including the highly acclaimed Bishop Heber High School), A private and secure oasis, Secure off-road parking in a central location, People can't find us (no 'Trick or Treaters' at Halloween), Relatively cheap for central Malpas Conservation Area, Walk to shops, pubs and restaurants, Can't be seen from the road, Surprisingly big plot, Quirky layout, Country walks right from the door step, Fully insulated including cavity wall insulation and loft insulation.Yes, ugly it maybe, but there is an undeniable charm. Yes, it does need a little TLC, yes most rooms need re-decorating and yes, one may feel the need to replace the existing carbuncle of a 'greenhouse' style lean-to with a more modern conservatory, but so what?....the existing structure does work (sort of). The outside paintwork certainly needs refreshing and there's a mini forest growing out of the gutters! My clients aren't keen gardeners; hence the artificial turf lawn and the rather untidy yard/garden. However, on the bright side, there are some far reaching views beyond the screen of bushes and quite frankly, where else will you find a property of this size, smack bang in the middle of a Cheshire village, at this keen price? Intrigued??? Treat yourself and take a closer look. In a strange way, I don't think that you will be disappointed!
