I love the high ceilings and how bright the house is. It has been well maintained for the last forty years and I had the lounge/diner area treated with a damp proof membrane to avoid the damp issues that many lower ground floor levels suffer from.
I love the location too. It is extremely convenient for busses, the railway station, universities, town centre, Lewes Road supermarkets and has quick access to the South Downs.
