We first saw our lovely home on a beautiful summers day and its imposing elevations seem to gleam at us in the splendour of the sunshine. I had the immediate recollection of playing with a similar looking doll's house as a little girl and in this moment I had the instant revelation that this was the house I had been dreaming of since my childhood. There's lots of history here too. We discovered that it was built around 1820 by Lord Archibald Stokes (Legend goes that he is buried in Newchurch graveyard along with his favourite horse). Our business is taking us away from the area now and we shall miss our home immensely.
