We are sorry to leave this lovely, character family home. During the fourteen years we have been here, we have enjoyed the many benefits of being within easy reach of the amenities of Yarmouth and particularly the ferry connection to the mainland. Our home was a former coach house to Eastmore Manor. The Manor was built for Johnny Walker (whiskey), and in the late 1800's was bought by the then Lord and Lady Carnarvon of Highclere Castle (used as the film set in the television series Downtown Abbey). If you hope to enjoy the country life, then our home, in close proximity of both sea and forest, with its large garden, vegetable plot and poly tunnel, plentiful parking, space for children to play, Solent views, right of way to the shoreline and access to adjoining public coastal footpath, will be just the ticket!
The property has a truly lived-in and homely feel, it will attract those who can appreciate the potential it has and who wish to stamp their own personality on it. There is planning consent for further alterations and for further information can be viewed on the council website. A recent garage conversion has provided a self-contained annexe which we have successfully used for both B&B accommodation and for a live-in family member as an annexe.
