DESCRIPTION
This is a wonderful, individual detached ancient stone farmhouse at the centre of the hilltop village of North Hill which huddles around its beautiful listed Church.

Blythes Farmhouse is a listed property and the frontage elevation is prominent within the village street scenery. The potential to enhance and adapt the property, possibly incorporating the outbuildings at the rear is tremendous.

This is the sort of property where a great deal of character may well be exposed during renovation works. It is considered there are two large stone open fireplaces at each end of the property. One would appear to have a cloam oven due to the stone protrusion indicating such at one gable end.

Whilst listed building consent will be required to alter the premises it is considered a Conservation Officer will be keen to see a change of emphasis of the interior highlighting the original character of the property and removing some of the 1960s / 70s introductions in terms of surfacing's and fitment.

A particular feature of the property is the rear yard enclosed by a wonderful little run of stone outhouses with series of doors each hung on a granite post. There is a walkway through these outhouses to a gorgeous area of potential family garden which itself enjoys a separate access. The outbuildings might well have potential for linking with the house in part to provide additional accommodation and part perhaps to provide annexe accommodation or garaging.

Opportunities to acquire rich refurbishment projects such as Blythes Farmhouse are rare these days.

The property has night storage heaters throughout.
