Before we bought this house eight years ago, we used to walk by outside, admire it and wish it was ours. There’s something very special about it, almost magical, and it has been an extremely lucky, inspiring and happy home for us.
It has been ideal for our growing family and our social life too. But our business is growing and because we both work from home, we feel we need more space to house our studio and increasing amount of equipment. In a way we are gutted we have to move because we feel no other place is like it in Canterbury, yet we know life is all about change.
We will miss the area, being able to walk everywhere, the sound of the Cathedral bells, and the view from our windows, especially at night time. On a bright day the house is flooded with sunlight and the area is safe for our children to play.
We are just 100 meters away from the marvellous ‘Goods Shed’ where a blend of wonderful restaurants and farm shops sell high quality meats, vegetables and deli items to die for. We are also opposite the river Stour and close to Westgate Gardens offering idyllic riverside walks, punts and cycle rides. Knowing that you can be in Kings Cross St Pancras in 56 minutes door to door is also pretty amazing too!
