We originally fell in love with the location as the views are really stunning and, because we are near the end of the tarmac part of Cliff Road, it is like being in a cul-de-sac, so is very quiet. Over the past couple of years we have worked hard to completely renovate our lovely home to the highest standard and will be sorry to leave, however, we are going to live abroad but hope the new owners will enjoy it as much as we have – whether they looking for a permanent home or the ultimate weekend and holiday retreat.
It is only a few minutes to Hythe’s historic town centre with its array of individual shops and restaurants as well as Waitrose and Sainsbury’s. It only takes about 10 minutes to stroll to the beach, the Imperial Hotel with its golf course, gym and other facilities and the Military Canal for walks along the towpath. While enthusiastic golfers can enjoy their sport at the nearby Henry-Cotton-designed golf course at Sene Valley. For rail commuters the high-speed train to London from Folkestone is just under an hour or you could take a 20-minute-drive to Ashford International, where it is only 36 minutes to St. Pancras. Sandling station is only a short distance and there are regular bus services to Folkestone with its excellent secondary schools and access to the Continent.
