“We just knew immediately when we viewed this property that this would make the perfect home for us, we could see the potential for expansion of the accommodation. We were also impressed by the location and that the property bordered onto Epping Forest land.

We have enjoyed living here since 1996, during which time we have added a double storey extensions to the rear and side, a first floor side extension and single storey rear extension, built a detached garage and altered the arrangement of some of the accommodation, creating a home that suited our requirements with an emphasis on space and entertaining.

The location was certainly a key feature that sold the property to us, we enjoy a corner plot position, which is only a few hundred yards from Epping Forest land. This provides us with a tree lined aspect and having dogs it has been great for taking them for walks.

Our favourite space within the home is the kitchen/breakfast area, which has just been refurbished again. It’s certainly the heart and hub of the home as it’s an area where family and friends can come together for cooking, eating and relaxation. You can also access via a staircase the lower level with the snug area and conservatory to relax in.”
