The driveway leads to both properties, but opens out to provide excellent parking for Fairview by the large, detached garage/workshop which offers scope for development, subject to the relevant consents being obtained. The wooden shed beside the garage offers further storage for garden tools. The gardens are simple and pretty – mainly lawn with apple trees. The garden is raised above the road level and feels private because of it. A crazy-paved patio leads across the front of the house to the wooden summerhouse.
To the rear of the house, beyond the parking, steps lead up into the shared woodland where a simple hut, of breeze-block construction, nestles into the bank.
