Traditional family houses within Reigate are always in short supply and high demand, and this particular property is no exception.
Add to this the fact that most families find Wray Common area to be desirable, especially being accessible to good local schools and the motorway. With all this being offered for sale within this particular property, this could be the ideal purchase for a growing family or even a couple downsizing from a larger house.
As soon as you walk into the property you will notice straight away that there are many features dating back to when the property was built in 1934, including coving, windows, fireplaces etc which have been married together sympathetically with modern fittings such as the kitchen and bathroom.
One of the main features of this property is the good size, private garden with raised deck area leading down to a mature, established and well maintained formal lawn. There is also plenty of parking as well as the garage.
The location is ideal being in walking distance of Reigate town centre, with an excellent mix of shops, restaurants, bars, major employers as well as a mainline train station to London.
What the Owner says:
This house was built to a good standard in 1934. Apart from the addition of a rear conservatory, double glazing, a terrace and landscaping of the garden by previous owners, the layout itself was much the same as originally constructed when we purchased it some eleven years ago. We have had a happy time living here and about four years ago carried out some improvements including a new enlarged family bathroom, an en-suite shower-room to one of the bedrooms, installation of a new condensing boiler and solar panels to supplement hot water.
The garden also has a small cedar wood greenhouse, a summerhouse/studio with electric light, power and heating and an adjacent garden shed.
