A truly beautiful late 1920's detached family home which has been extended to provide light and spacious accommodation with a large secluded, mature garden, situated in the heart of the popular spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Description
Culverden Park is a classic late 1920's detached property set within the heart of the wonderfully leafy Culverden area of Tunbridge Wells. Typical of the properties in this area, it has a generous plot with off-street parking, good sized front and rear gardens and generous accommodation. The current owners have made some wonderful additions, which include an extension to the kitchen, landscaping of the garden and redecoration throughout, whilst maintaining many of the original period features.
Accommodation
The accommodation itself consists of a beautiful entrance hall with original picture rails, kitchen / diner, utility room, study or family room, dining room, sitting room and downstairs cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a lovely landing with fabulous roof top views, four bedrooms, one of which has its own en-suite bathroom, plus a family bathroom. The kitchen and utility room have a solid French oak floor, whilst the remaining rooms have fitted carpets, below which are believed to be the original floorboards.
Outside
The property is entirely surrounded within its own grounds, with a driveway and garage to the front. To the rear there is a large garden which is laid to lawn with a variety of planted beds and mature shrubs, with two patio seating areas. There is even a secret summerhouse at the very end of the garden!
The area
Culverden Park is a really lovely road, popular with families and professionals who like its excellent nearby schools and easy access to the mainline station, with its fast and frequent trains to London. It falls within the catchment for both the Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar and Boys Grammar. Alternative secondary choices of Bennett Memorial and St Gregorys are also close at hand. Tunbridge Wells town centre is only a short walk away, and has an excellent range of restaurants, shops and sporting facilities.

At the traffic lights, continue straight forward, and do so until you reach another roundabout. Again take the first exit to stay on the A26, and then after a third of a mile, turn left onto Culverden Park.
