We had not heard of the area of Shorne before viewing the property. But as soon as we turned off the A2 and drove along the lane, with the country park all around you, we became really excited about what we were about to see. As soon as we saw the house, we fell in love with it. We have since found out that the original building dates back to around 1800 and there is even a disused well in the gardens, that used to serve this part of the village.Shorne is a lovely village with a real sense of community. Dog owners will never tire of exploring the country park, which is just on our doorstep.
