“We bought this property about four years ago and have been the first owners from brand new. We were already living in Sarre, a village we had grown very fond of, so naturally when it came to finding a larger home, this property was perfect for our needs. One of the main attractions was the wonderfully unique position, being just one of two houses at the end of a long driveway, in an established part of the village, with a larger garden than you would imagine possible with a brand new house and to top it all, a lovely view over countryside.
The house is as pristine as the day we moved in and every day we appreciate the benefits of living in a newly built home where everything works as it should and economical energy bills, thanks to the latest technological advances in thermal insulation and efficient heating. The gardens are a haven for visiting wild life, enclosed all round and with the electronic driveway gates closed, are a fantastically secure environment, well away from any passing traffic, making it ideal for a family with young children.
Among our reasons for wanting to stay in Sarre, was our love of the surrounding countryside and the friendly community spirit found in the surrounding villages. Locals at the Crown Inn, the village pub will regale historic tales of smuggling and it having been a favoured hostelry of Charles Dickens".
