Full Details for 3 Bedroom Terraced for sale in Hove, BN3 :

Arguably the prettiest in a row of 19th Century period town houses that fate has saved from the onset of modernity, there really are not that many householders in the Brunswick Conservation Area that can boast their own private front door in a property so close to the wonderful Hove Lawns and beach front.

It is certainly doubtful if there is any with such an abundance of character. This house exudes perceptible warmth and features three floors of original Georgian wooden floorboards and quirky features such as the kitchen cave.

Throughout the house permeates a tangible warmth of history and could quite easily feature in a period drama, making a wonderful talking point over dinner. Built in the reign of George IVth and registered in the reign of William IVth research would indicate that this house was originally servants' quarters for one of the houses on Brunswick Terrace.

The heart of the home is most definitely the kitchen area, a room plenty big enough for a feast or grand banquet which leads nicely on to a stunning terracotta paved south facing patio with mature planting for privacy.

You really do get the best of both worlds here, in walking distance to all of the best bits of Brighton & Hove; the sea, Hove Lawns, great restaurants, bars and shops, and yet when you close the door you could be a million miles away.

What the Owner says:

From the moment we entered this little Georgian house, nearly twenty years ago, we fell in love with its quirkiness, its history, the original wooden floor boards, and the fact that we could hear the sound of the waves from the bathroom window. It is rare to live in a house with such soul and character.

The sea front is just two minutes away; there are cafes, a thriving arts centre and two nice pubs all near by and yet Lower Market Street has been a quiet and friendly enclave.

We wish the new owners well and hope that they will be as happy as we have been.
