The 2 bedrooms on the first floor are both doubles and another flight of stairs takes you directly in to a superb sized 3rd bedroom which the current owner uses as her bedroom. Look out from the skylight and watch the sun bounce its colours off the sea.

A hop skip and a jump takes you right into the centre of town where you can partake in a variety of retail therapy (just watch the weight when you are carrying it all back home at the end of the weekend). Choose to eat at one of the many restaurants on offer with no reliance on a car.

The garden is a perfect size to chill out in without becoming a slave to it.

This has been a well loved holiday home for many years. It has been a real joy to escape from a hectic London work life and enjoy the change of pace and atmosphere here in Whitstable. Lots of new friends have been made over the years and I am now going to move here permanently.

I will miss my "seaside retreat" but am sure that the next owners will create as many happy memories as I have over the years.
