On a weekend we take advantage of being so close to Heaton Park by doing Park Run, going for a wander for an ice cream and to feed the squirrels and donkeys. The location of the house allows us to leave the car at home and unwind a little when visiting Manchester City Centre on Metro link for the day or night, Its nice not having to think about where to park the car or who might be the designated driver. Easy access to the motorway also means we can explore further a field easily in the Lakes or Peak District.
