The Roseland | Set in the heart of the Roseland peninsula on the south Cornish coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ruan High Lanes is centrally located and close to the villages of Ruan Lanihore and Philleigh, both with ancient churches and country inns, as is the pretty village of Veryan with its famous Round Houses and golden beaches of Carne and Pendower. Three miles away is Porthcurnick Beach with its famous 'Hidden Hut' beach cafe, named by The Telegraph as one of the 'hottest places in the county, if not the country', and from there you can walk the coastal path into the harbour village of Portscatho. Tregony, with a range of village facilities and both primary and secondary schools is just over three miles distant. The elegant sailing resort of St Mawes is just six miles away and the cathedral city of Truro, nine miles distant via the King Harry Car Ferry, offers a wide range of commercial facilities and school and has a direct rail link to London.
