Full Details for 3 Bedroom Terraced for sale in Banstead, SM7 :
Finding three bedroom family homes for sale in Banstead and Woodmansterne is hard enough at the best of times! When you’re on a limited budget, trying to find a property close to good schools and amenities for under £400,000 it is almost impossible! The current owner found herself in a similar position some ten years ago before purchasing this little gem. She was attracted to the home for many reasons; it was close to her family who live nearby, easy to maintain, with generously proportioned rooms, in a safe environment and convenient to the local village shops, including a post office, newsagent, takeaway, corner shop and hairdresser. It was also perfectly situated for country walks straight from her front door.If schooling is important to you the property is perfectly situated with Woodmansterne Primary School less than a quarter of a mile up the road and Chipstead Valley Primary School with its outstanding rated Ofsted report circa one mile away in Chipstead Valley Road.
My mum has lived here very happily for many years. In my opinion it’s the perfect house to downsize to, or for a young family. It’s in a great location within a wonderful friendly village. As mum downsized from a larger property it was important to her to still retain a spacious lounge. It’s wonderfully bright and airy in the house even on overcast days. The size of the kitchen/breakfast room allows for a small table and chairs too, which is great for when I pop round for a cuppa and a chat. At the weekend we have often gone for leisurely strolls over the fields, followed by a nice Sunday roast at the Woodman public house. Mum loves the convenience of the area. As she doesn’t drive, she is grateful for the regular bus service.
