Full Details for 3 Bedroom Terraced for sale in Crediton, EX17 :
The property is a Victorian stone built cottage with 3 bedrooms, living room with bay window and a sizeable kitchen diner also benefiting from a lovely lawned south facing garden and uPVC double glazing to most windows.
DESCRIPTION:Situated in the heart of this Mid-Devon village within walking distance of bus and train links, the well regarded primary school, local stores and public house, this Victorian cottage also enjoys a southerly aspect and views over rolling Devon countryside.
Internally the well-proportioned 3 bedroom accommodation is in need of updating, but benefits from a nice living room with bay window looking out over the garden, a good sized kitchen/diner and a shower room. The property is largely double glazed and we understand the electrics and off-peak storage heaters were updated in 2005. There is also scope to extend up into the loft space as a neighbour has already done so (subject to permissions).
A major feature of this property is its south facing garden, which stretches to approximately 25m (81ft). There is also a courtyard to the rear with a workshop/store too.
The current owners have parked behind the courtyard for the 25 years that they have owned the cottage, however this area does not appear on the title deeds and so we cannot guarantee this parking area will always be available. The free village car park is just around the corner.
DIRECTIONS: From Crediton head North West along the A377, after 4 miles you’ll reach the village of Copplestone. Jubilee Terrace is found on the right hand side just before the village centre, set well back from the road by its long garden with pathway serving no. 5 & no. 6. (There is a free village car park just around the corner located off of Bewsley Hill/Fernworthy Park).
COPPLESTONE is a popular Mid Devon village adjoining the A377 Exeter / Barnstaple road about 4 miles west of Crediton. The Cathedral City of Exeter is about 12 miles to the south east with excellent communications including the M5 motorway, main line rail stations and its airport to the east of the city. To the south west and the north east of Copplestone are the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor, renowned for their spectacular scenery with excellent facilities for walking, riding and fishing. The village has an old Inn, post office / general stores and a modern primary school. There is a bus service through the village to Exeter via Crediton. The village also has a railway station with trains every hour to both Barnstaple and Exeter. In the village stands an ancient granite cross which is mentioned in a Saxon charter of the year 974. This cross is virtually in the centre of the County.
