This has been a wonderful escape, being away from traffic noise and built up living. Although the setting is countryside and quiet, having a couple of neighbours makes it also feel secure and not to remote.
It really feels like after a hard day that I am coming home to a pretty holiday cottage for the evening/weekend - its a lovely feelingThe kitchen is fitted and works well, the bathroom is small but still has room to give a separate shower as well as a bath to enjoy, and the loft room can be closed up if not needed but it is dry and lined so very useable although no stair access. The cottage is very cosy and refreshingly cool in the summer.What really sold it to me was the location not far from the towns and the main line station nearby, in addition to wanting a garage, they are hard to find with a cottage I can tell you!
