Full Details for 3 Bedroom Semi-Detached for sale in Dorking, RH4 :
If location is up there on your wish list then this impressive Victorian home will be right up your street. Well located for the town centre and a sought after choice for commuters thanks to its proximity to the stations, it's easy to see why houses here don't hang around for long. If relaxing is your thing, you can look forward to cosy nights in and putting your feet up in the bright lounge with the large bay window to sit and watch the world go by out of. If you enjoy entertaining, the size of the dining area will be right up your street and with high ceilings and stripped wooden floors, it is the perfect environment for getting together. On those colder evenings you can fire up the log burner too. The stylish kitchen area has been well designed for creating those culinary delights and overlooks the pretty garden. There is also a spotless shower room - ideal for that powerful wake up blast before heading to work in the mornings. If you find yourself with a house full then don't worry as there is plenty of room for everyone to stay with a choice of excellent sized double bedrooms. You may want to keep the one with the impressive en- suite bathroom for yourself though making light work of getting ready in the mornings. Outside, the good size garden is the perfect place to get some sun as you watch the kids tire themselves out on the lawn. You can also fire up the barbecue and enjoy al-fresco dining on the patio. If you work from home, you can make the outside workshop your office, as the current owners use it for.
We moved here from London 8 years ago and for us it was all about the location. We wanted to be able to get into town quickly for the stations etc but we fell in love with how Pixham itself is a very friendly community and almost its own little village within a town. The house needed so much work to it when we bought it and we have literally done it all from top to bottom. We replaced the kitchen, added the log burners, transformed the garden and replaced both the bathroom and shower room. We also redecorated every single room and laid new flooring and carpets. We are now looking to down-size to something smaller but are hoping to stay local as we absolutely love the area.
