A beautifully presented three bedroom semi-detached home in the centre of Watlington, yet set back from a quiet cul-de-sac near the park. Renovated and maintained to a high standard, this home has been thoughtfully modernised and well insulated, with double glazing and both solar and photovoltaic panels on the roof. This, combined with the Firebelly wood burner in the sitting room dramatically reduce the running costs, and make this an eco-friendly home. The south facing rear garden has direct access to the garage and off road parking space, and there is visitor parking to the front. It's often said, but with this home you really could just move in and unpack.
Watlington
Reputedly England's smallest town, Watlington nestles at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in South Oxfordshire, one of the country's most beautiful landscapes. It is a very pretty town whose character is protected by a conservation area, about 2.5 miles from junction 6 of the M40, and around a twenty minute drive to Princes Risborough station. The town probably dates from the 6th century, and the current medieval street plan has been in existence since at least the 14th century. The town has a selection of specialist shops, pubs and small businesses. Much of The Midsomer Murders series was filmed in and around Watlington, and both the Icknield way and the Oxfordshire way footpaths pass within half a mile of the town.
