We moved here over a decade ago as we completely fell in love with the location. It's tucked away and incredibly rural and there is such a friendly community in Ockley that we felt welcome almost immediately. We kept chickens and really enjoyed the country life. The house needed a lot of work and we have spent a huge amount of time and money refurbishing it to a high standard. The fact that it was our family home meant we did it for us with no expense spared and not with the intention of moving. A couple of years ago our dream home came up for sale down the road so we rented this house out and moved. It's only now that the opportunity to sell has presented itself that we have decided to let it go.
