Quite often you will hear people talk about the importance of location when choosing the right property. When the current owners purchased this property back in 1972 - as the second owner since new - it was all about the location.Situated within a quiet cul–de-sac away from the hustle and bustle of any main roads, they immediately fell in love with the leafy surroundings and tree-lined roads of Nork. They could walk the children up to the park and to Warren Mead infant and junior schools. The village of Nork has an abundance of shops, including a pharmacy, post office, Co-op, hairdressers, doctors’ surgery, takeaways and restaurants and is within three quarter of a miles walking distance. The property itself is a 1930’s style, spacious family home that offers the new owners a blank canvas to modernise and put their own stamp on it.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.
My father raised us in this home. We have always been happy here because the area is so lovely. We used to walk to school and we could play outside because Roundwood View is a no-through road. The house has all the basics, like central heating and double glazing. Recently we have had the roof overhauled, replacing 50 or so tiles, re-pointed the external brickwork, replaced a radiator in the lounge and rewired the property about 2 years ago.It is a great blank canvas and we believe there is plenty of scope for someone to extend to the side due to the width of the plot, subject to planning permission.
