St Thomas Church was built at about 1857 by Samuel S Teulon, a prominent Victorian Architect with an adjacent vicarage. He also designed St Thomas Terrace which was completed in 1868 and given Grade II listing in 1988.The terrace is within it's own walled gardens with a drive entrance from North Road.
